Playground wear mats help reduce loose-fill surfacing displacement and ongoing maintenance in areas exposed to repeated foot traffic, landing, dragging, or kicking.

Choose the Placement Area

Common placements include beneath swings, at slide exits, below climber entrances, along playground pathways, and in other high-traffic areas.

Select the Mat Size

Choose a mat that covers the primary wear area without interfering with equipment movement, accessible routes, borders, drains, or surrounding components. Larger and thicker mats may provide greater coverage and additional stability in heavily used areas.
