Delivery Location

Freight delivery is generally made to an accessible ground-level location. Confirm that the address can accommodate a commercial freight truck.

Liftgate Service

Receiving the Shipment

Have an authorized adult available to receive the delivery.

Before signing:

  1. Count the delivered pieces.

  2. Inspect the pallet, cartons, wrapping, and exposed components.

  3. Record visible damage or shortages on the carrier’s delivery receipt.

  4. Photograph the shipment and any areas of concern.

  5. Retain the packaging and delivery documents.

Moving and Storing Components

The carrier generally delivers to the accessible delivery area. Plan how the equipment will be moved from that area to secure storage or the installation location.

Keep all components packaged, dry, secure, and protected until the installation team and site are ready.
