Proper playground-border installation begins with an approved layout, established finished elevations, confirmed surfacing depth, adequate drainage, and the current manufacturer instructions.

Before Installation

Confirm the complete perimeter, border material, selected size, entrances, ramps, corners, curves, transitions, surrounding grades, drainage direction, surfacing depth, and included installation hardware.

Mark the Layout

Mark the full border path before excavating or driving anchors. Verify playground dimensions, use-zone requirements, accessible routes, gates, sidewalks, and surrounding obstructions.

Establish the Finished Height

Final Inspection

Confirm alignment, stability, hardware placement, exposed edges, entrance transitions, drainage, and finished surfacing depth. Reset or correct loose, raised, shifted, or misaligned sections before opening the playground.
